Faculty Student Interaction(FSI) organized the Gentleman’s game on 18th August and what was expected to be a “friendly” bout of cricket between the two turned out to be a misnomer. The campus witnessed a heated contest between the faculty and the students, with both teams locking horns outside the conventional classroom setting, in a different ball game. In post-match analysis, the day had plenty on offer for everyone: the players, the umpires and the spectators (dogs included!)
Faculty won the toss and decided to bat. It was a 12 over match. Here we provide you the entire story through snapshots at various stages of the match. After all pictures are worth more than a thousand words!!
The first innings saw the professors making 98 runs. With 99 runs to win in 12 overs, the students were in the attack mode from the word go.
The students were later heard saying that they threw away the match because they did not want to get D in FRA, Marketing or PS2. We say, nice try kids. 🙂
